I never watched MCM but all my friends told me I just HAD to watch it.

So I watched this series to get into it...the minute that lunatic referred to that Saab as JDM, made the insinuation that it COULD, in any universe, be JDM...

No. I just can’t do it. I don’t care if it’s a joke, it’s too much. Nope. I don’t think it’s funny and I don’t know how anyone who knows anything about cars could find it funny. Not to mention the only reason it’s what he did to that car is moderately tolerable is because it has so many miles on it. And even then, with that service history? What a waste!

I actually find the joke quite funny, and I do actually like the modifications he’s done to it. The entire challenge is being done just for fun, and they’re trying things they wouldn’t do with their normal cars. Considering the values of Saabs, and the fact that it was up for sale for so long, I don’t really feel too bad about the hackery. Honestly, I think you’d be more interested in their Supergramps and Mod Max series. But hey, to each their own.

G_Body is right, even better, check out their second channel MCMTV2 and watch the “Double Unicorn” Stagea build. That’s proper car guy stuff and much less goofing around than this. This isn’t the right series to start on if you don’t know their schtick.

I’ve not been hugely in to this latest ‘challenge’ (it feels too drawn out and they were getting obnoxious for a while there) but I look forward to seeing the competition, as long as it doesn’t consist of 60+% Moog yelling like a lot of similar things have.
